Navigating NIS2: How Managed Detection & Response Enhance Cybersecurity
February 5th, 2025. 9 - 9.30 AM
Have you considered how MDR helps comply with NIS2?
Cybersecurity and the relatively new European regulation, NIS2, are crucial topics for anyone involved with computers and the internet. The service Managed Detection and Response (MDR), which acts as a security bodyguard to help protect against hackers and comply with NIS2, is therefore a very helpful tool for most companies. At this webinar Dubex’ Head of Cyber Defence Center, Danni Bach Pedersen, will dive into MDR and how MDR plays a role in NIS2 and cyber security in general.
What is NIS2?
NIS2 is a new EU regulation aimed at enhancing cybersecurity across Europe. It mandates that all companies and organizations must have robust security measures in place, such as conducting risk assessments, monitoring their systems, and having a plan for responding to cyberattacks.
What is MDR?
Managed Detection & Response is a service where you hire experts to monitor your systems and detect hacker activity 24/7. They use advanced tools and experience to detect suspicious activity and respond to incidents, helping to minimize damage.
NIS2 and MDR
While NIS2 doesn’t specifically require the use of MDR or SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) solutions, it does mandate several security measures that MDR and SIEM can help fulfill.
Some highlights on how MDR helps companies comply with NIS2:
- Improved Security Posture
- Security Monitoring
- Improved Incident Response
- And more …
